Final Thoughts & Our #1 Pick

The abdominal trainer is specifically designed to target one area, this is ideal if that one area is where you are looking to improve, whether you’re looking to tone up, lose weight or generally just increase core strength.

Sometimes, exercises can be limited and become quite quickly repetitive when focused on targeting one area, therefore having a piece of equipment that provides variation enables motivation levels to stay high and improve your chances of reaching your end goal. The use of equipment can also increase intensity significantly, which can lead to more productive results in a shorter amount of time.

This is definitely a great post.

I am really unfit at the moment and I need some new equipment so I can workout at home.

The machine you have described sounds perfect, not too pricey and seems pretty simple to use.

I think I’ll invest in it and try to get rid of some of the weight I have put on.

Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

    All the best,

Hey Josh! Thank you so much for this comprehensive guide. I definitely need to work on my abs so I’m glad I found this blog. Looks like you know what you’re talking about. I’m traveling every once in while and would like to work out in hotel rooms as well. Can you suggest some gymnastic exercises for that scenario?

    • Josh April 23, 2018 at 11:06 am

Hi Chris, These types of machines are particularly convenient if you need to take with you. There are a number of exercises you can do that target different areas. If you are targeting your Abs, I would recommend Ab tucks, bridges and sit ups. The machine makes these workouts more effective as mentioned in the post, is also worth noting that you can perform other exercises on the machine that also target other areas of the body which include bicycle kicks, scissor kicks, tricep extensions, push-ups and forearm/bicep pushes.
Hope that helps with your question.

Hi there, this is a very helpful post that will assist people including me make good decisions before buying any equipment out there. Going to the gym regularly can be challenging but knowing you have the right equipment at home for your work out routine is awesome. The machines stated here also reasonably priced. Although you mentioned that it is suitable for all ages; I was wondering if these are good for females too?

    • Josh April 24, 2018 at 11:23 am

I think being able to exercise at home rather than getting to the Gym is better for many people for a number of reasons. The equipment is suitable for all ages and genders, you can adjust the level of resistance to suit your needs. Many reviews on the products are from both woman and men and also a number of older people who say it has boosted their exercise training. Thank you for the comments.

Hi thanks for your comment, they are all fairly similar but from experience I found the Core Max is the easiest and most practical machine out of the three and is the machine I use on a regular basis. I feel that the Core Max machine is the most convenient when it comes to adjusting difficulty level.
